General
Description:
Catalytic heaters are not burners because they create no flames. Raw gas enters
the rear of the panel assembly and passes out through a porous pad on the front
of the heater, where it meets atmospheric air and reacts with it, aided by a precious
metal catalyst on the pad. Although the heat release pattern is low intensity
compared to infrared burners, it is very uniform and well suited to heating thin,
delicate materials which might be harmed by localized overheating.
Principal
Applications: Ink & Adhesive Drying, Paint, Powder Coating &
Varnish Curing, Plastics Thermoforming and Shrink Packaging
