General
Description:
Infrared heaters encompass a wide variety of designs with emitters of pre-fired
refractory shapes, ported ceramic plates, metal and ceramic fiber mats and porous
ceramic boards. Heaters are available either as standard-sized modules, usually
6" or 12" long, for assembly onto supply manifolds to suit customer
requirements, or as large single panels built to order. Most emitters are essentially
flat panels, but some manufacturers offer cylindrical burners or custom shapes.
