Broilers/Melters - Overfired

  • Energy Input: 65-100 kBtu/h gas; 41 kBtu/h electric
  • Commonly known as heavy-duty upright or hotel broilers
  • Used for high-production needs - steak and chicken
  • Heat is radiated downward to a grid that retains heat and gives food its distinctive markings.
  • Grid can be raised, lowered or rolled in and out to facilitate control of cooking time and temperature
  • One and two cavity designs, countertop, equipment stand, free-standing, floor mounted with stationary legs or casters available
