Specialty Equipment - Holding Cabinets

  • Freestanding metal cabinet with casters and rack supports to hold food trays
  • Designed to hold food, which has been cooked using a separate appliance, at a specified temperature
  • Keeps food safe for serving without drying or further cooking
  • Can also be used to keep plates warm or to transport food for catering events
  • Available sizes are full-size, three-quarter size and half-size ranging in height from 58" for full-size down to 28" for half-size
  • Most models heat by convection
  • More energy efficient models include insulation, magnetic door gaskets, automatic door closers and Dutch (or double) doors to prevent heat loss
