Electric IR Medium Wavelength: NiCr Winding in Quartz Tube

Medium wavelength electric heaters emit infrared heat when a helical Nickel-Chrome (NiCr) resistance element heats a quartz tube. The equipment has both an internal and external reflector to concentrate the energy.

The wavelength is longer than T3 lamps, lowering the filament temperature and radiant heat flux.

Highlights:

Wavelength: Medium
Maximum Use Temperature: 1300-1400°F
Filament Temperature: 2000°F
Output: Medium-to-High

Applications: General Industrial, Paper Drying, Powder Coating
