Minimum Efficiency Standards

The chart below lists the minimum efficiency standards for commercial furnaces and boilers taken from ANSI/ASRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1 – 2004, Table 6.8.1.E. It illustrates the type of information available in this standard which also covers minimum efficiency standards for air conditioning and condensing units, electrically operated and applied heat pumps, water chilling packages, packaged systems, and other systems. (The reader should reference the 90.1 standard directly to see all conditions associated with information listed in the table.) Efficiency (E) is defined as thermal efficiency.
